Selection Process
- Merit Listing – Candidates are ranked in descending order of aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification for the respective trade.
- Tie‑Breaker – If marks are equal, the senior candidate by date of birth is given preference; if still equal, higher Matriculation marks decide.
- PwBD Consideration – PwBD candidates are considered against reserved seats within their category based on merit.
- Document Verification – Shortlisted candidates are called for verification (tentatively 11‑18 August 2026).
- Pre‑Engagement Medical Fitness – Candidates must be medically fit as per the Apprentices Act.
- Offer of Engagement – Issued to candidates whose documents and medical fitness are found satisfactory.
How to Apply
- Step I – Registration on NAPS/NATS Portal
- Visit the NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) or NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal.
- Create a new user profile using a valid email address and mobile number.
- Fill in personal details, upload scanned copies of age proof, educational certificates, and passport‑size photograph.
- Select the desired trade code (101‑111) and submit the application.
- Step II – Submission of Microsoft Form
- After successful registration on NAPS/NATS, a link to the mandatory Microsoft Form will be displayed.
- Complete the form with the same details as entered in the portal and upload the required documents.
- Verify all entries carefully; any mismatch may lead to rejection.
- Submit the form before the 28 July 2026 deadline.
- Retain the application reference number generated after submission for future correspondence.
