Selection Process
- Merit‑based selection – no written examination.
- Merit list prepared using the average of Matriculation (or 12th for medical trades) marks and ITI/National Trade Certificate marks.
- Lists are prepared unit‑wise, trade‑wise and community‑wise in descending order of percentage.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for Document Verification (DV) up to 1.5 × the notified vacancies.
- Each candidate can be considered for only one combination of Unit‑Department‑Trade based on merit and preference order.
- In case of a tie, the older candidate (by date of birth) is ranked higher; if DOB is same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier gets preference.
