Selection Process

  1. Merit‑based selection – no written examination.
  2. Merit list prepared using the average of Matriculation (or 12th for medical trades) marks and ITI/National Trade Certificate marks.
  3. Lists are prepared unit‑wise, trade‑wise and community‑wise in descending order of percentage.
  4. Shortlisted candidates are called for Document Verification (DV) up to 1.5 × the notified vacancies.
  5. Each candidate can be considered for only one combination of Unit‑Department‑Trade based on merit and preference order.
  6. In case of a tie, the older candidate (by date of birth) is ranked higher; if DOB is same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier gets preference.
