Age relaxation as per government rules for reserved categories. Ex‑servicemen get an additional 10 years relaxation.

Educational Qualification

  • Trade (ITI) Apprentices: Must have passed the specific NCVT‑pattern trade (except Glass Former & Processor) and be registered on the NAPS portal before the interview.
  • Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Full‑time Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized State Council/Board.
  • Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: Full‑time graduate degree (Engineering or any other discipline) from a recognized university.
  • Graduates/Technicians who passed their qualifying examination in 2022‑2026 are eligible.

Ineligible Candidates

  • Holders of any Post‑Graduation qualification (including integrated PG courses).
  • Candidates from institutions not approved by AICTE/DOTE/UGC.
  • Those already undergoing or having completed apprenticeship in the same qualification.
  • Applicants with ≥1 year work experience after obtaining the essential qualification.
  • Sandwich diplomas, private diplomas, part‑time/distance/short‑term/certificate courses.

Pay Scale & Salary

The stipend varies from Rs. 6,800 to Rs. 12,300 per month depending on the trade/discipline, as detailed in the vacancy tables. All positions have a training period of 1 year.
