Educational Qualification
- Engineering graduation in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation recognized by the Board of Technical Education/UGC/AICTE or equivalent authority.
- Graduation must be on or after 01‑09‑2023. Earlier graduates are ineligible.
- Minimum aggregate marks:
- UR / OBC‑NC: 60%
- SC / ST / PwBD: 50%
- Only Indian nationals are eligible.
- Candidate must be registered and approved on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) portal and by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT).
- Applicants with an existing apprenticeship contract on the NATS portal or with ≥ 1 year of work experience are not eligible.
Pay Scale & Salary
The selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/‑, of which Rs. 20,500 is paid directly by HPCL and Rs. 4,500 is disbursed by the Government of India under the DBT scheme. No additional allowances or housing assistance are provided.

Selection Process
- Screening of applications on the basis of eligibility and merit percentage.
- Rejection of incomplete or ineligible applications without intimation.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for document/certificate verification (ratio 1:5 against slots) via registered email. No TA/DA is provided.
- Preparation of merit list from candidates who report for verification and are found suitable.
- Selected candidates must accept the tri‑partite apprenticeship contract on the NATS website, submit a medical certificate, and undergo police verification.
How to Apply
- Visit the Apprentice Application portal at jobs.hpcl.co.in/Recruit_New/recruitlogin.jsp and click “Sign up for New Registration”.
- Complete the registration; login credentials will be sent to your registered email ID.
- Log in using the received email ID and password.
- Select the appropriate Engineering Branch from the dropdown menu.
- Enter personal details and click “Validate your details”.
- Proceed to “Contact Details”, fill in correspondence and permanent addresses, then click “Save & Next”.
- Choose your preferred State of Training (only one preference allowed).
- Validate the state selection and move to “Qualification Details”.
- Upload a recent passport‑sized photograph and your signature.
- Review all entered information under “Preview”; edit if necessary.
- Read the declaration carefully, tick the declaration boxes, and click “Final Submit”.
- A confirmation email containing your HPCL Application Number will be sent after successful submission.
