Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (relaxable as per government rules: OBC +3 years, SC/ST +5 years, Ex‑servicemen up to 40 years).
  • Educational Qualification: ITI (National Trade Certificate) or equivalent in the relevant trade.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in the respective trade within shipyard, engineering, or related industries.

Specific trade requirements:

  • Pipe Fitter: ITI/Fitter/Plumber/Sanitary Fitter or NSFQ equivalent; experience in pipe spools, valve testing, bending machines, etc.
  • Welder: ITI/Welder or NSFQ equivalent; experience in gas, manual, automatic, MIG/SEM welding, cutting, and related standards.
  • Electrician: ITI/Electrician/Wireman/Electronic Mechanical or NSFQ equivalent; experience with sub‑stations, HT/LT switchgear, transformers, and electrical layouts.
  • Machinery Fitter: ITI/Fitter/Diesel Mechanic/Machinist/Instrument Mechanic or NSFQ equivalent; experience with machine tools, bearing replacement, pump & engine maintenance.
