- Civil/Construction (07A/26): Full‑time B.E./B.Tech or AMIE in Civil/Construction Engineering with minimum 65 % marks (relaxed to 50 % for SC/ST/PwBD). Must have a valid GATE‑2025 score in Civil Engineering (Paper Code CE).
- Mining (07B/26): Full‑time B.E./B.Tech or AMIE in Mining Engineering with minimum 65 % marks (relaxed to 50 % for SC/ST/AM). Must have a valid GATE‑2025 score in Mining Engineering (Paper Code MN).

Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on GATE‑2025 score and NTPC’s organisational requirements.

- Medical Examination: Conducted by NTPC Medical Board/Officer; decision is final and no relaxation in medical standards.
- Offer of Appointment: Issued to candidates who clear all stages, subject to final verification.
