- Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Group‑B) – Bachelor degree of Engineering in Civil: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) awarded by a university established by law in India or equivalent.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) (Group‑B) (Contractual): Same as above – Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- Assistant Engineer (Computer Science) (Group‑B): Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Technology (or equivalent) from a recognized university and computer literacy (minimum six‑month course).
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) (Group‑B): Bachelor Engineering Degree in Civil awarded by a university established by law in India with three years of relevant experience.
