Selection Process

  1. Merit‑based selection only; no written examination.
  2. Merit list prepared using the average of Matriculation (or 12th for medical trades) percentage and ITI marks for the relevant trade.
  3. Lists are prepared unit‑wise, trade‑wise and community‑wise in descending order of percentage.
  4. Shortlisted candidates are called for Document Verification (DV) up to 1.5 times the notified vacancies.
  5. Each candidate can be considered for only one combination of Unit‑Department‑Trade based on merit and order of preference.
  6. In case of a tie, the older candidate (by age) is ranked higher; if DOB is same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier gets preference.
