Selection Process

The selection procedure for IIFCL Officers Recruitment 2026 consists of three sequential stages. Candidates must clear each stage to progress to the next.

  1. Stage 1 — Online Written Examination: This is a computer-based objective test conducted in a single session of 120 minutes. The examination carries a total of 200 marks and is divided into two parts:
    • Test I (General Awareness and Aptitude — 100 marks, 100 questions, 60 minutes): Covers Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Reasoning, and Financial Current Affairs.
    • Test II (Domain Knowledge — 100 marks, 50 questions, 60 minutes): Evaluates candidates on post-specific subjects including Project Finance, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Accounting and Taxation, Indian Economy, and latest RBI/SEBI Circulars and Guidelines on NBFCs, NPA, etc.

Negative Marking: A penalty of 1/4th of the marks assigned to a question is imposed for every incorrect response. Unattempted questions do not attract any penalty.

  2. Stage 2 — Behavioural Examination: Candidates who qualify the written test are invited for a behavioural assessment, which evaluates personality traits, decision-making capabilities, communication skills, and overall suitability for the position.
  3. Stage 3 — Personal Interview (100 marks): The final stage is a structured interview that assesses the candidate’s professional knowledge, relevant work experience, and overall compatibility with the role. The final merit is determined on a 40:60 weightage between the written examination and interview scores respectively.
