Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – 200 marks (two papers of 100 marks each). Negative marking of 1/3 mark per wrong answer. Qualifying marks: 40% for General, 35% for SC/ST.
- Document Verification – Candidates shortlisted on CBT merit must present original certificates.
- Medical Examination – Fitness certificate from the Chief Medical & Health Officer or Medical Jurist.
How to Apply
- Visit the SSO Recruitment Portal and click on “New Registration”.
- Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) by paying the applicable fee (₹600 / ₹400) using any of the accepted payment modes.
- After successful OTR, log in with your credentials and select “RSSB Computer Instructor Recruitment 2026”.
- Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and upload scanned copies of required documents (photograph, signature, certificates, etc.).
- Pay the application fee (if not already covered under OTR) and submit the application before 23 June 2026 23:59 hrs.
- Download and keep a copy of the submitted application and the generated Application ID for future reference.
- If any mistake is found, use the correction window (fee ₹300) within the stipulated period.

- What is the minimum educational qualification for the Basic Computer Instructor post?
Candidates must be a graduate with any of the following: BCA, B.Tech/BE in CS/IT/ECE/EE, B.Sc. in Computer Science/IT, or a graduate with PGDCA (minimum 1 year).
- Is there any age relaxation for women candidates?
Yes. General category women get a relaxation of 5 years (maximum age 45). For SC/ST/OBC/EWS women (Rajasthan domicile) the relaxation is 10 years (maximum age 50).
- How many attempts can I make for the CBT?
The recruitment notice does not limit the number of attempts. Candidates may appear in the CBT as long as they meet the age and qualification criteria for each attempt.
