Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must satisfy the general eligibility as well as the specific departmental requirements mentioned below.

• General Qualification: Master’s degree with at least 55 % marks (or equivalent) in the relevant subject and clearance of NET/SLET/SET or possession of a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.
• Business Administration: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline plus a Master’s in Business Administration/PGDM/CA/ICWA/M.Com with First Class and a minimum of 2 years professional experience after the Master’s.
• Commerce and Financial Studies: Master’s degree with 55 % marks and NET/SLET/SET qualification or Ph.D.
• Computer Science and Engineering: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. (or Integrated M.Tech.) with first class, or Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering with MCA.
• Economics and Development Studies: Same as general qualification (Master’s + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.).
• Education: Post‑graduate degree in Social Sciences (≥ 55 %) and M.Ed. (≥ 55 %) or MA in Education (≥ 55 %) with B.Ed./B.El.Ed. (≥ 55 %). NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. also required.
• Electrical and Energy Engineering: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. (or Integrated M.Tech.) with first class.
• Environmental Sciences: Master’s + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
• Far East Languages (Chinese): Master’s in Chinese or related subject (≥ 55 %) and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
• Geography, Geology, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Political Science & Public Administration, Statistics & Data Science: Master’s + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
• Metallurgical & Materials Engineering: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. (or Integrated M.Tech.) with first class.
• Performing Arts: Master’s (≥ 55 %) in the relevant subject and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D., or a professional artist with a Bachelor’s degree and notable achievements.

Pay Scale & Salary

The selected candidates will receive a fixed salary of Rs. 57,700 per month as per the university’s pay structure for temporary faculty.
