Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidate must possess a Graduate degree from any university recognized under the Central or State Acts, or an equivalent qualification as approved by the Government.
  • Applicants lacking the required qualification at the time of filing must withdraw their application; false information may lead to debarment for three years under BNS Section 217.

Service Experience (for Departmental/State Service Reserved Posts)

Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Examination (Screening Test): Objective type paper (General Knowledge & General Science) – 200 marks, 3 hours. Conducted online/offline. Marks are not counted for final merit.
  2. Main Examination (Written): Descriptive/analytical test comprising four papers, each of 200 marks and 3 hours:
    • Paper I – General Studies I
    • Paper II – General Studies II
    • Paper III – General Studies III
    • Paper IV – General Hindi and General English
  3. Interview / Personality Test (if applicable) for shortlisted candidates.
  4. Final Merit List prepared based on Main Examination marks (and Interview, where applicable).
