Eligibility Criteria

• Professor of Education: Postgraduate Degree with minimum 55% marks in the relevant discipline, M.Ed. or M.A. Education with minimum 55% marks, Ph.D. in Education or relevant discipline, and UGC/State norms.
• Associate Professor of Education: Same qualifications as Professor – Postgraduate Degree (≥55%), M.Ed./M.A. Education (≥55%), Ph.D., and UGC/State norms.
• Assistant Professor of Education (Perspectives in Education or Foundation Courses): Either
  • Postgraduate in Social Sciences (≥55%) + M.Ed. (≥55%), OR
  • Postgraduate (M.A.) in Education (≥55%) + B.Ed./B.El.Ed. (≥55%).

  NET/UGC‑SLET/SET required unless candidate holds a Ph.D. in Education.

• Assistant Professor of Education (Curriculum and Pedagogic Courses): Postgraduate in Sciences/Mathematics/Social Science/Languages (≥55%) + M.Ed. (≥55%). NET/UGC‑SLET/SET required unless Ph.D. in Education.
• Assistant Professor – Physical Education: M.P.Ed. with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: Ph.D. or UGC‑NET and Yoga Education training.
• Assistant Professor – Visual Arts: MFA with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: Ph.D. or UGC‑NET.
• Assistant Professor – Performing Arts: Post Graduate in Music/Dance/Theatre Arts with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: Ph.D. or UGC‑NET.
