Eligibility Criteria
General Requirements
- Age: No upper age limit; candidates must satisfy the experience requirement.

Route A – Academic / Research Path
- Ph.D. in the concerned, allied, or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer‑reviewed or UGC‑listed journals.
- Research score of 120 as per Appendix I, Table 1.
- At least 10 years of teaching experience (Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor) or equivalent research experience.
- Evidence of successful guidance of doctoral candidates.
Route B – Outstanding Professional / Industry Path
- Ph.D. in the relevant, allied, or applied discipline (not covered under Route A).
- Significant contribution to knowledge in the discipline, supported by documentary evidence.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional/industry experience.
Marks Relaxation for Reserved Categories
- 5 % relaxation in qualifying marks for SC, ST, OBC (non‑creamy layer), and Differently‑abled candidates.
- For Ph.D. holders whose Master’s degree was obtained before 19 September 1991, the minimum qualifying mark is relaxed to 50 % (instead of 55 %).
- Grace marks are NOT considered while computing eligibility.
