Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a postgraduate medical qualification (MD/MS/DNB) as per the latest NMC‑TEQ Regulations (Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions, dated 30 June 2025).
Medical Council Registration
For clinical subjects, a valid registration with any State Medical Council is mandatory up to the last date of online application. For non‑clinical subjects, candidates with an M.Sc (Medical) or Ph.D. are exempted from this requirement.

Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Uttarakhand), dependents of freedom fighters, persons with disability, ex‑servicemen, and orphan children as per the respective Government Orders.
Nationality
Indian citizens, Tibetan refugees who entered India before 1 January 1962, and persons of Indian origin from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, or Tanzania are eligible.
Other Requirements
- Gazetted post with contributory pension.
- Good character and physical‑mental fitness; fitness certificate required.
- Preference given to candidates with 2 years of Territorial Army service or an NCC ‘B’ Certificate, if all else is equal.
