Post & Organization Details
The Manipur Staff Selection Commission (MSSC) is recruiting 80 Special Primary Teacher posts on a regular basis for the Education (S) Department, Government of Manipur. The recruitment is conducted through sponsorship of the concerned Employment Exchanges of Manipur, and the selection will be through a Computer Based Test (CBT).

In addition, there are 3 PwD reserved posts (Blindness & low vision, Deaf & hard of hearing, Locomotor disability) – one each.
Eligibility Criteria
- Indian citizenship.
- Ability to speak Manipuri or any Tribal dialect of Manipur.
- Permanent resident of Manipur (or descendant with proof).
- Age: Minimum 18 years, maximum 38 years as on the date of notification. Age relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and additional relaxations for Government servants as per rules.
- Educational Qualification:
- 10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 50%** marks, or 10+2 with at least 45%** as per NCTE norms.
- D.Ed. in Special Education from an RCI‑approved institute (valid RCI CRR number) or D.El.Ed. with equivalent RCI‑approved qualification.
- 6 months training in cross‑disability inclusive education (mandatory if not already completed).
- Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test‑1 (TET‑1) conducted by the State Government or any NCTE‑approved agency.
Pay Scale & Salary
Pay Scale: Level 6 (Group‑C, Non‑Gazetted). Detailed salary structure as per Manipur Government pay rules.

Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted at designated centres (Imphal, Churachandpur, Senapati).
How to Apply
- Registration & Login: Register on the MSSC portal using credentials provided by the sponsoring Employment Exchange, then log in with your User ID and password.
- Fill Application Details: Enter personal information (name, DOB, category, language proficiency, RCI CRR status, NOC if a government servant, etc.).
- Upload Documents & Sign Declaration: Upload recent passport‑size photograph, scanned copies of qualification certificates, age proof, category certificate, disability certificate (if applicable), and sign the mandatory declaration.
- Application Fee Payment: Pay the applicable fee through UPI, net‑banking, or card. Ensure payment confirmation before proceeding.
- Submit Application: After successful fee payment, submit the form. An acknowledgement receipt will be generated—download and keep it for future reference.
