Educational Qualification
- Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) in the 10+2 system.
- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) **or** B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution approved by the Indian Nursing Council.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Odisha and possess a valid Registration/Renewal Certificate at the time of online application submission.
- Proficiency in Odia (reading, writing & speaking) as evidenced by one of the prescribed qualifications.
Other Conditions
- Indian citizenship and good character.
- Married candidates must have at most one living spouse.
- Sportsperson category candidates must upload a valid Sportsperson ID card.
- Candidates debarred from any OSSC recruitment during a specified period are ineligible.
Pay Scale & Salary
The selected Nursing Officers will draw a salary as per the Pay Matrix Level‑8, Cell‑01, i.e., ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 per month.
