Selection Process

  1. Stage‑I: Computer Based Test (CBT)
    • 200 objective‑type questions (General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension) – 1 mark each.
    • Duration: 180 minutes.
    • Negative marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer.
    • Qualifying marks: 40% for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex‑Servicemen, 50% for others.
  2. Stage‑II: Computer Knowledge/Skill Test (applicable for Junior Accountant, Stenographer, Junior Assistant)
    • 100 marks, duration 75 minutes.
    • Only candidates clearing Stage‑I are eligible.
    • Shortlisting: Five candidates per vacancy per category based on Stage‑I merit.
    • Minimum qualifying marks: same as Stage‑I (40% for reserved, 50% for others).
    • Test content varies by post (Data Entry, Word Processing, Computer Operation, Stenography).
  3. For Deputy Director (Medical) and Junior Programmer, a separate exam scheme will be announced on the official website.
