Eligibility Criteria

  • Specialist: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty. Age must be less than 69 years as on the date of interview.
  • Senior Resident: PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty (non‑PG candidates need 2 years experience). Age must not exceed 45 years (relaxations as per rules).
  • Super Specialist (Cardiology): Post‑graduate qualification plus DM/M.Ch in Cardiology and registration with MCI/State Medical Council. Age limit 69 years.
  • Senior Resident (against GDMO): PG Degree/Diploma or MBBS with at least 2 years relevant experience. Age limit 45 years (relaxations as per rules).

Pay Scale & Salary

  • Specialist and Senior Resident posts: Emoluments are on a “no work no pay” basis as per Central Government rules adopted by ESIC.
  • Super Specialist (Cardiology): Remuneration is on a consolidated basis as per ESIC Headquarters letters (F.No Z‑17/11/1/2007/Med IV dated 13‑04‑2022 and U‑13/14/38/2020‑MedI dated 02‑02‑2021).
