Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Essential: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma or Post Doctoral Degree (or equivalent) in the concerned specialty from an NMC/MCI recognised university/institute, preferably with valid DMC registration for the specialty.
  • PG qualification must be completed and result declared before the interview date.
  • Non‑PG candidates will be considered as Non‑PG Senior Residents and may be appointed for 44 days or until a PG‑qualified candidate is appointed.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 45 years as on 01.07.2026.

Relaxation of Criteria

  • In specialties with a shortage of fresh candidates, candidates who have completed 3 years of Senior Residency may also apply.
  • Separate merit lists will be prepared for fresh candidates and for those with 3‑year experience.
  • Appointments from the second list will be for a maximum of one year and are non‑renewable.

Pay Scale & Salary

Selected Senior Residents will receive remuneration as per the 7th CPC, Pay Matrix Level‑11 ranging from Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 208,700 per month, along with the usual allowances applicable.

Selection Process

  1. Candidates will be selected solely on the basis of the walk‑in interview.
  2. A rank list will be prepared after the interview; no waiting list will be maintained.
  3. If the number of candidates is very high, the interview may be extended to the next working day, with verbal communication by the Board Members.
  4. Candidates not interviewed on the scheduled date must remain at the venue until cleared by the Board Members.
