Selection Process
- Stage 1 – CBT‑1 (Screening): 75 questions, 60 minutes, negative marking of 1/3 mark per wrong answer.
- Stage 2 – CBT‑2:
- Part‑A: 100 marks (subject‑wise), 120 minutes.
- Part‑B: 75 marks (qualifying), 60 minutes.
- Negative marking of 1/3 mark per wrong answer.
- Stage 3 – CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test): 100 marks, 90 minutes, no negative marking.
- Stage 4 – Document Verification (DV): Verification of original certificates and other documents.
- Stage 5 – Medical Examination (ME): Candidates must satisfy Medical Standard A‑1.
Final merit list is prepared on the basis of combined marks from Part‑A of CBT‑2 (50% weightage) and CBAT (50% weightage).

- Click on “Online Application” and register by providing a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Fill in all personal, educational and experience details as per the application form.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents (photograph, signature, SSLC/Matriculation certificate, ITI/Diploma/Degree certificates, caste certificate, etc.) in the prescribed format and size.
- Pay the applicable application fee through Internet Banking, Debit/Credit Card or UPI.
- Review the entered information carefully and submit the application.
- After successful submission, download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

- What is the minimum educational qualification required for Assistant Loco Pilot?
Candidates must have either Matriculation + ITI in the specified trades or Matriculation + Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering.
