The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters – Western Region, Mumbai, has released Advertisement No. 03/08/2026/APPRENTICE (Graduate/Diploma)/WR for the engagement of Graduate and Diploma Apprentices for the training year 2026‑27. The apprenticeship positions are spread across various AAI airports in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and the Union Territory of Diu.

Educational Qualification
Graduate Apprentices – Must hold a relevant degree as per the discipline (e.g., B.Com/BBA for Finance, B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, Electronics, IT, Mechanical, etc.). Minimum aggregate marks: 50% (SC/ST: 45%). The degree should be obtained on or after 01 April 2022.
Diploma Apprentices – Must possess a relevant three‑year diploma (e.g., Diploma in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering) with the same minimum marks criteria.
All candidates must be domiciles of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh or the Union Territory of Diu and should reside near the listed airport locations.
Other Conditions
- Maximum five years of experience after qualification disqualifies a candidate.
- Final‑year students may apply, subject to meeting qualifications at the time of joining.
- Candidates already undergoing apprenticeship with any organization or AAI in the same trade are ineligible.

Selection Process
- Shortlisting of candidates based on percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Interview and verification of certificates/testimonials.
- Submission of Certificate of Medical Fitness from a Gazetted Government Medical Officer or Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking at the time of joining.
- Police verification certificate from the local area of residence.
