Eligibility Criteria

Nationality & General Requirements

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Must be mentally and physically fit for the duties of the post.
  • Persons with more than one wife or their spouses require prior Government permission.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have passed PUC (Pre‑University Course, equivalent to Class 12) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Karnataka. Acceptable equivalents include:

  • Class 12 under CBSE, ICSE or any State Pre‑University Board.
  • Advanced vocational / NSDC‑affiliated courses through NIOS.
  • Two‑year ITI course with one language and one general subject at pre‑degree level.
  • Three‑year diploma (pre‑2015) with Kannada language cleared at SSLC level.
  • Any higher qualification (Graduation, Post‑Graduation, etc.) is also acceptable.

Age Relaxation
