Qualification

Candidates must possess the following essential qualifications as per NCTE Regulations 2014 and UP government orders:

  • Option 1: Postgraduate degree in Science / Mathematics / Social Science / Humanities with minimum 55% marks AND M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks.
  • Option 2: Postgraduate degree in relevant subject (min 55%) AND Postgraduate degree in Education (M.A. Education) with minimum 55% marks AND B.Ed. degree or equivalent with minimum 55% marks.
  • Additional Requirement: National Eligibility Test (NET) in Education conducted by UGC OR Ph.D./D.Phil. in Education from a recognized University as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016.

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in two stages:

  1. Written Examination (200 Marks):
    • Objective-type question paper.
    • General Knowledge: 60 Marks (30 Questions).
    • Subject-specific Questions: 140 Marks (70 Questions).
    • No negative marking.
  2. Interview / Assessment (30 Marks):
    • Candidates shortlisted based on written exam scores will be called for departmental interview.

Total Merit: Written Exam (200) + Interview (30) = 230 Marks.
