Eligibility Criteria

Local Residency Requirement

  • Rural – applicant must be a resident of the same Gram Panchayat where the Anganwadi centre is located.
  • Urban – applicant must be a resident of the same ward.
  • Widow or divorced women may be considered residents of either their in‑laws’ home or maternal home, as applicable.

Marital Status

  • Both married and unmarried women are eligible.
  • If a selected candidate ceases to be a local resident (e.g., due to marriage), the honorarium service will be terminated.
  • An undertaking/affidavit regarding residency must be submitted at the time of selection.

Educational Qualification

Minimum qualification: Class 12th (Senior Secondary) pass.

Age Limit

General 18 to 35 years
SC / ST / Widow / Divorced / Special categories 18 to 40 years

Last Date to Submit Application Within 30 days from notification (approximately 07 August 2026); confirm with the concerned CDPO office.

  1. Obtain the application form from the concerned Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) office in person.
