Eligibility Criteria
Common Conditions (as on 01 November 2025)
- Service Condition: Confirmed hand with a minimum of 8 years continuous service under Punjab Government.
- Age Limit: Below 54 years as on 01 November 2025. Age relaxations as per government rules apply.
- Educational Qualification: Graduate from a recognized university.
- Punjabi Language Requirement: Proof of passing Punjabi up to Matriculation level or its equivalent.
Register A‑II (Advertisement No. 20263)
- Open to Group A & Group B officers holding ministerial appointments not below the level of Senior Assistant.
- Employees of Universities, Boards, Societies, PUDA, GMADA, PSPCL, PSTCL, Corporations, etc., are NOT eligible.
Register‑C (Advertisement No. 20264)
- Open to Group A & Group B officers who are NOT covered under Register A‑I, A‑II, or A‑III categories (e.g., District Revenue Officers, Block Development Officers, etc.).
- Same exclusion of employees of Universities, Boards, Societies, PUDA, GMADA, PSPCL, PSTCL, Corporations applies.

Selection Process
- Screening Test (100 marks, 50% weightage considered). Minimum qualifying marks: 30%. Candidates must rank within three times the number of vacancies to be shortlisted.
- Length of Service – up to 15 marks (0.54 marks per year beyond the mandatory 8 years, full marks at 36 total years).
- Assessment of Service Records (ACRs/APARs) – last 5 years, graded as Average (1), Good (2), Very Good (3), Outstanding (4) – up to 20 marks.
- Interview – up to 15 marks.
The final score is calculated as 50% of the screening test marks + ACR marks + Length of Service marks + Interview marks.
