Assistant Engineer – RE (Asset Management/Operation & Maintenance) (E‑0 Grade) – 100 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

General Conditions

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
• All qualifications must be obtained from universities/institutes recognized in India.
• Age, experience and qualification will be computed with reference to the last date of receipt of online application.
• Category selected at the time of application cannot be changed later.

Assistant Engineer – RE (E‑0 Grade)

• Educational Qualification: Full‑time regular Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation) from a State Technical Board or AICTE/UGC recognized institute, with pass marks.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of post‑qualification site experience in the Power Sector, of which at least 6 years must be in a ≥50 MW grid‑connected Solar and/or Wind project (Operation & Maintenance / Asset Management).
• Upper Age Limit: 40 years (relaxations: +5 years for SC/ST, +3 years for OBC, +10 years for PwBD, ex‑servicemen as per guidelines).

Deputy General Manager – RE (E‑6 Grade)

• Educational Qualification: Full‑time Graduate in Engineering (Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics, Control & Instrumentation, Civil, Mechanical) with a minimum of 60 % marks (SC/ST/PwBD candidates with passing marks are eligible).
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of post‑qualification executive‑cadre experience in the Power Sector, of which at least 10 years must be with a Renewable Energy Developer of Solar and/or Wind projects, including a minimum of 2 years site experience in a ≥50 MW grid‑connected project (Construction/Erection/Commissioning).
  Government/PSU candidates must also have at least 2 years experience in the pay scale of ₹80,000‑₹2,20,000 (IDA E‑5 Grade or above) within the 12‑year period.
• Upper Age Limit: 44 years (same relaxations as above).

Pay Scale & Salary

• Assistant Engineer – RE (E‑0 Grade): Pay scale ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000 with an initial Basic Pay of ₹40,000. Additional allowances, Dearness Allowance, perquisites and terminal benefits as per company rules.
• Deputy General Manager – RE (E‑6 Grade): Pay scale ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000 with an initial Basic Pay of ₹90,000. Other benefits as per company policy.
