A total of 34 vacancies are available for Senior Section Engineer and Senior Section Officer positions across various technical and non‑technical departments.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years as on the closing date.
• Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC‑NCL – 3 years (as per government rules).

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Senior Section Engineer (Civil): 3‑year Diploma in Civil Engineering; minimum 6 years supervisory/maintenance experience in viaducts, bridges or station buildings.
• Senior Section Engineer (Track): 3‑year Diploma in Civil Engineering; minimum 6 years supervisory experience in track works.
• Senior Section Engineer (Rolling Stock): 3‑year Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering; minimum 6 years experience in rolling stock contract management, installation, testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance.
• Senior Section Engineer (AFC & Telecom): 3‑year Diploma in relevant engineering stream; relevant experience as per notification.
• Senior Section Engineer (Electrical): 3‑year Diploma in Electrical Engineering; relevant experience as per notification.
• Senior Section Engineer (Signaling & Telecom): 3‑year Diploma in relevant engineering; relevant experience as per notification.
• Senior Section Officer (Finance): Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with MBA (Finance) OR CA (ICAI) OR CMA (ICMAI).
• Senior Section Officer (Legal): Full‑time Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Senior Section Officer (HR): Bachelor’s Degree with MBA (HR) / PG Degree or Diploma in HRM, HRD, Personnel Management, or Industrial Relations.

Pay Scale & Salary

The selected candidates will be placed on the IDA pay scale of ₹46,000 – ₹1,45,000 per month, along with the following components:

• Basic Pay
• HRA @ 30%
• IDA @ 55.7%
• Perks @ 31.5%
• Provident Fund, Gratuity and other statutory benefits
• Medical benefits as per CGHS rates
