*Mechanical and Electrical posts are notified under a Special Recruitment Drive (SRD) exclusively for SC/ST/OBC(NCL) candidates; no UR/EWS posts are notified in these two disciplines. Chemical discipline posts are open to all categories.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Age cut‑off date: 19 Sep 2026. Age relaxation for OBC(NCL)/SC/ST applies only to posts reserved for the respective category.

Educational Qualification

Only candidates with the above degrees are eligible. Candidates holding other engineering degrees (e.g., Production, Automobile, Mechatronics, Construction) are **not** eligible. Only **valid GATE‑2026** marks are considered; marks from any previous GATE examinations will be rejected.

Pay Scale & Salary

In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will receive Dearness Allowance (IDA pattern), HRA/Township accommodation, performance‑related pay, and other perks as per MRPL’s company rules.

Selection Process

1. Initial shortlisting based solely on valid GATE‑2026 marks (out of 100).
2. Shortlisted candidates are called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) in a ratio of 1 post : 5 candidates, category‑wise.
3. In case of a tie in GATE marks, the candidate with higher marks in the essential qualification (degree) is ranked higher.
4. Final merit list prepared as per MRPL’s prevailing rules; MRPL reserves the right to modify or delete any test.
5. Document verification is conducted at the time of Personal Interview.
6. A panel of suitable candidates may be created and kept valid for one year.

2. Click “Click here to register online” to generate your Login ID and Password using a valid email ID and mobile number (must remain active for at least 1 year).
3. Sign in and fill in educational qualification, category, and other required details. An Application ID will be generated and sent via email/SMS.
4. General/OBC‑NCL/EWS candidates: click “Pay Now”, select “Advt. 94/2026”, and pay the application fee of ₹118 online; save the payment receipt.
5. After payment, return to the home page, click “Already Paid”, sign in, and enter the SBI e‑Collect Reference Number, bank name and payment date; upload the payment receipt (JPG).
6. SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates (fee‑exempt) can directly proceed to document upload.
7. Upload scanned photograph, signature, GATE‑2026 score card, and category/PwBD/EWS certificate as applicable, then click “Submit”.
8. Save the PDF of the submitted application for your records – no hard‑copy needs to be sent unless you are a Government/PSU/Autonomous body employee forwarding through proper channel.
