Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Fishery Officer: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 27 years.
- Junior Football Coach: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 32 years.
Age relaxation as per government rules: SC/ST – 5 years; Government employees – no upper age bar if already in service within prescribed limit; Athletes (National Level) – up to 43 years for Junior Football Coach as per Meghalaya State Sports Policy 2019.
Educational Qualification
- Fishery Officer: B.F.Sc. or B.Sc. (Pisciculture/Fishery Science) from any recognized university.
- Junior Football Coach:
- Graduate in any stream with a 1‑year Diploma in Sports Coaching from NSNIS (Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports) or equivalent institute/university/college, with preference for higher medal winners at International/National/Zonal championships.
- OR 10+2 with a Diploma in Sports Coaching from NSNIS or equivalent for medalists at International/National/Zonal championships.
Pay Scale & Salary
- Fishery Officer: Level 12 of the Revised Pay Structure.
- Junior Football Coach: Level 11 of the Revised Pay Structure.
