Women candidates receive a horizontal reservation of 30 % across all groups and categories. Persons with Disability (Divyang) reservation is also horizontal as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (minimum 40 % benchmark). Deaf and Hearing Impaired candidates are considered only for the Pipe Fitter trade.

Eligibility Criteria

Group A – 10th Pass

  • Passed SSC (10th) with General Science and Mathematics.
  • General / OBC / SEBC / EWS / Divyang / AFC: Minimum 50 % aggregate marks.
  • SC / ST: Passing class only (no minimum percentage).
  • Best‑of‑5 subjects must include General Science and Mathematics.
  • ITI‑passed candidates are NOT eligible for Group A.

Group B – ITI Pass

  • Passed ITI in the relevant trade from a Government or Government‑recognized institute.
  • General / OBC / SEBC / EWS / Divyang / AFC: Minimum 50 % aggregate marks.
  • SC / ST: Passing class only.
  • Final ITI exam must be cleared on or before 01 Oct 2026. Candidates passing after this date will not be considered.
  • ITI‑passed candidates are NOT eligible for Group C.

Group C – 8th Pass

  • Passed 8th Standard (under 10+2 system) with Science and Mathematics.
  • General / OBC / SEBC / EWS / Divyang / AFC: Minimum 50 % aggregate marks.
  • SC / ST: Passing class only.
  • ITI‑passed candidates are NOT eligible for Group C.

Nationality

Candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who arrived before 01 Jan 1962, or a person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with a valid eligibility certificate.

Pay Scale & Salary

The official notification does not disclose a fixed pay scale. Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, credited directly to their savings bank account via ECS.

Selection Process

  1. Online Examination (CBT) – 100 multiple‑choice questions, 2 hours. No interview.
