Age Limit

Candidates must be between 15 and 24 years of age as on 19-05-2026. Age relaxations:

  • SC/ST: additional 5 years
  • OBC: additional 3 years
  • Divyang/PWBD & Ex‑Servicemen: additional 10 years (further 10 years for Ex‑Servicemen with 6 months continuous service)

Educational Qualification

Qualification Details
Matriculation (10th) Passed with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.
ITI Certificate National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the notified trade issued by NCVT, or provisional certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT. Both 10th & ITI marks must be entered on the portal; otherwise the application will be rejected.

Selection Process

  1. Preparation of a merit list based on the aggregate percentage of Matriculation marks (minimum 50%) plus ITI marks in the applied trade.
  2. For board systems with grade‑based evaluation (e.g., AP BSE, Kerala PEB), the midpoint of the grade range will be considered, treating each subject as out of 100.
  3. Shortlisted candidates will undergo verification of original certificates and a medical fitness test.
  4. Tie‑breaking:
    1. Older age will be given preference.
    2. If age is same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be preferred.
