Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess any one of the following from a recognized university or AICTE‑approved institution:
- A degree in Civil Engineering / Engineering / Technology (including AMIE) OR
- A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Agriculture (B.Sc.) OR
- A Diploma in any branch of Engineering/Technology (AICTE‑approved).
Only candidates who have **completed** the qualification are eligible; pending students are not considered.
Pay Scale & Salary
The post follows the 2024 Revised State Pay Scale: ₹37,500 – ₹76,100 per month. In‑hand salary will include applicable allowances as per Karnataka Government norms.

Selection Process
- Competitive Written Examination (offline OMR) – Paper‑I (General Knowledge) & Paper‑II (Specific Paper).
- Kannada Language Test (qualifying, 150 marks, minimum 50 marks) for candidates not having studied Kannada up to SSLC level.
- Document Verification as per merit and reservation.
- Probationary Departmental Training (2 years) with a mandatory “Kadaya Tharabeti” survey training exam.
