Post & Organization Details

The apprenticeship program is conducted by ISRO Telemetry Tracking & Command Network (ISTRAC) under the Department of Space, Government of India. Training will be provided at three locations: Bengaluru (headquarters), Lucknow and Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair). The duration of the apprenticeship is 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification
  • Graduate Apprentice (GA01‑GA06): B.E./B.Tech in the relevant discipline from a recognised university; GA07 requires MLISc.
  • Diploma Apprentice (DA01‑DA06): State board diploma in the respective engineering discipline; DA06 needs Diploma in Commercial Practice.
  • ITI Trade Apprentice (TA01‑TA05): ITI certificate in the notified trade.
• Year of Passing: Must have passed in 2024, 2025 or 2026. Candidates must join within three years of passing.
• NATS Registration: Mandatory registration on the NATS portal with a valid enrolment number to be mentioned in the email application.
• Only Indian nationals are eligible.
• Ex‑apprentices, candidates currently undergoing any other apprenticeship, or those with ≥ 1 year of work experience in any sector are ineligible.
• Combination with any other institution’s apprenticeship is not permitted.

Pay Scale & Salary

• Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300 per month stipend.
• Diploma Apprentice: ₹10,900 per month stipend.
• ITI Trade Apprentice: ₹9,600 per month stipend.
