Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the subject-specific educational criteria along with common eligibility requirements:

• Teacher (Biology) Post Code-26017: Master’s Degree in Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences/Microbiology/Bio-Technology etc. (50% marks) with Botany & Zoology at Graduation level + B.Ed. (50% marks) + TET passed.
• Teacher (Chemistry) Post Code-26018: Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry (50% marks) + B.Ed. (50% marks) + TET passed.
• Teacher (Physics) Post Code-26019: Master’s Degree in Physics/Electronics/Nuclear Physics (50% marks) + B.Ed. (50% marks) + TET passed.
• Teacher (Commerce) Post Code-26020: Master’s Degree in Accountancy/Financial Accountancy/Income Tax/MFC (50% marks) + B.Ed. (50% marks) + TET passed.
• Common Requirements: Proficiency in teaching Hindi & English. 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwD of HP. Matric & 10+2 from HP School (except Bonafide Himachali).

Vacancy Details

Note: Vacancies are distributed across categories including Gen(UR), EWS, SC, OBC, ST, WFF, and BPL as per the official notification.

Salary Details

• Fixed Honorarium: Rs. 30,000/- per month.
• Payment Duration: Payable for 10 months in an academic year.
• Nature of Appointment: Purely temporary, scheme-based for 5 years.
• Regularization: No regularization; selected candidates are not regular Government employees.
• Scheme Reference: Notified vide No. EDN-B-A(1)-3/2025 dated 01.04.2026.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be conducted through the following stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT):
   • Total Marks: 120 (Objective Type – 120 Multiple Choice Questions, 1 mark each).
   • Duration: 1½ hours (90 minutes).
   • Syllabus: Subject(s)/field(s) up to the level of prescribed essential qualification(s), General Knowledge (including HP & Current Affairs), Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric Standard.
   • Minimum Qualifying Marks: General Category (45%), SC/ST/OBC/Wards of Freedom Fighters (40%).
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on CBT merit will be called for verification of original documents.
3. Waiting List: Category-wise Waiting List/Panel will be prepared based on the number of posts.
