Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Secondary or Higher Secondary School Certificate from a recognized board, or
- Female Health Workers Basic Training Course recognized by the Government, or
- Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) Course with valid registration under the Gujarat Nursing Council.
- Basic computer knowledge as prescribed under the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Only female candidates are eligible. Male candidates are not considered.

Selection Process
- Written Competitive Exam (MCQ) – Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) / OMR in two parts:
- Part‑A (90 Marks): Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30), Constitution of India, Current Affairs, Gujarati/English Comprehension (30).
- Part‑B (120 Marks): Subject‑specific questions on Community Health Nursing, Health Promotion, Primary Health Care Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Midwifery, Health Center Management (20 marks each).
- Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 40 % separately in Part‑A and Part‑B for all categories.
- Certificate Verification: Approx. 2× the number of vacancies will be called for document verification from the provisional merit list.
- Final Selection List preparation based on merit after verification.
- Bonus Marks:
- 5 % extra for candidates who have represented in recognized national/inter‑university/all‑India sports competitions.
- 5 % extra for eligible widow candidates.
