The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is recruiting on deputation (including short‑term contract) for Group B and Group C posts. Only serving officers of Central/State Government, Union Territories, PSUs, Universities, and Autonomous Bodies are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 56 years as on 19th June 2026. Age relaxations are applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.
Service Requirement
Only candidates currently serving as officers in Central/State Government, Union Territories, PSUs, Universities, Recognised Research Institutions, or Autonomous Organisations are eligible. Fresh or direct candidates are NOT eligible.
Educational & Experience Requirements (by Post)
- Senior Private Secretary (Pay Level‑08) – Must be holding an analogous post in the parent cadre or have completed 2 years regular service in Pay Level‑6 or equivalent.
- Assistant Manager (IT) (Pay Level‑07) – Must be holding an analogous post or have 5 years regular service in Pay Level‑6 or equivalent, and possess B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or any Engineering discipline, MCA or a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Assistant (Pay Level‑06) – Must be holding an analogous post or have 10 years regular service in Pay Level‑4 or equivalent, with 3 years experience in administration/human‑resource/vigilance as applicable, and a recognised Bachelor’s degree.
- Junior Assistant Grade‑I (Pay Level‑04) – Must be holding an analogous post or have 8 years regular service in Pay Level‑2 or equivalent, and possess 12th Standard (or equivalent) from a recognised board.

Selection Process

- Attach the following duly certified documents:
- Integrity certificate from employer
- Vigilance clearance certificate
- Details of major/minor penalties imposed during the last 10 years
- Certified photocopies of detailed APARs for the last 5 years (attested by an officer of Under Secretary rank or above)
- Send the complete hard‑copy package through the proper channel so that it reaches the Recruitment Cell by 13th July 2026 at:
