Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Core: B.E./B.Tech in Telecommunications, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, IT, or Instrumentation from a recognized institution.
- Alternative: M.Sc. (Electronics) or M.Sc. (Computer Science).
- Higher: M.Tech in any of the above disciplines is also acceptable.
- Vision: Ability to distinguish principal colours and binocular vision.
- Nationality: Only Indian nationals.

Pay Scale & Salary
The selected candidates will be appointed on the IDA Pay Scale E‑1 ranging from ₹16,400 to ₹40,500 per month. The probation period is 2 years, after which the regular pay scale will be confirmed.

Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – 3 hours, 120 questions, total 480 marks.
- Document Verification of candidates who qualify the CBT.
- Medical Examination as per BSNL standards.

- Enter your mobile number and email ID to receive OTP.
- Upload the required documents:
- Scanned passport‑size colour photograph (jpg/jpeg, 20‑50 KB, white background)
- Scanned signature (jpg/jpeg, 10‑20 KB)
- Class 10th certificate (DOB proof)
- Degree certificate & consolidated marksheet
- Photo ID proof (Aadhaar/Passport/Driving Licence/Voter ID)
- Category/reservation certificate (if applicable)
- Medical certificate for PwBD candidates
- Pay the applicable examination fee online.
- After successful registration, download and print the computer‑generated registration form for future reference.
- From 4 July 2026 to 11 July 2026, you may edit selectable fields in the application.
- For candidates currently employed in government departments or PSUs, upload a No‑Objection Certificate (NOC) during document verification.
- Select up to 21 circle preferences in the order of priority; selections are final.
- Download the admit card from the portal before the examination date.
