Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality / Citizenship: Indian citizen (also eligible: subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, Tibetan refugees who arrived before 01‑01‑1962, and persons of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with required certificate).
- One Time Registration (OTR): Mandatory on the TGPSC website before submitting the application.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a university/college recognized by UGC/AICTE or an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (A.M.I.E.).
- Distance/Open University: Degrees must be recognized by UGC/AICTE/Distance Education Bureau.
- Result Declaration: Final result must be declared by the university as on 02‑06‑2026.
- Local Candidate Status: 95 % reservation for candidates domiciled in Telangana for each zone.
- Government Employees: Must obtain No‑Objection Certificate if already in government service.

Selection Process
- Stage 1 – Written Examination (Objective Type)
- Two papers totaling 450 marks:
- Paper‑I: General Studies & General Abilities – 150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes (bilingual).
- Paper‑II: Civil Engineering – Degree Level – 150 questions, 300 marks, 150 minutes (English only).
- Qualifying marks: OC/EWS – 40 %, BC – 35 %, SC/ST/PH – 30 %.
- Examination may be conducted in CBRT (Computer Based) or OMR mode as notified.
- Stage 2 – Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original certificates.
- Stage 3 – Medical Examination: Candidates clearing document verification will undergo a medical fitness test.
- No waiting list will be maintained; final selection is based on merit list after all stages.

- Log in using your OTR credentials and select the post “Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil)”.
- Fill in personal, educational and employment details as per the application form.
