The Andhra Pradesh Medical Services Recruitment Board (APMSRB) has issued Notification No. 10/2026 inviting online applications for 529 contract posts under the National Health Mission (NHM). Age Limit

Minimum age: 18 years.
Maximum age: 42 years as on 01 January 2026. Age relaxations are applicable as follows:

Educational Qualifications

• Staff Nurse: Must possess a B.Sc. Nursing or General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) degree and be registered with the Andhra Pradesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (APNMC) with a current renewal.
• Pharmacist: Must hold a D.Pharma, B.Pharma or an Intermediate Vocational Course in Pharmacy recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and be registered with the AP Pharmacy Council with a current renewal.
• Multi Rehabilitation Worker: Must have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) and a one‑and‑a‑half‑year certificate course in Multi Rehabilitation Work from a recognized university, and be registered as Rehabilitation Personnel under the RCI Act, 1992.

Domicile / State Eligibility

Only candidates who are residents of Andhra Pradesh are eligible. Candidates who studied in AP from Class 4 to Class 10 are considered local. Migrants from Telangana who moved to AP within three years from 2 June 2014 are also eligible.

Selection Process

1. Merit is calculated on a total of 100 marks based on three components.
2. Qualifying Examination Marks: Up to 75 marks obtained in the candidate’s qualifying degree.
3. Weightage for Years Since Passing: 1 mark per year of experience (up to 10 marks for PG/Super‑Specialty).
4. Contract Service Weightage: Up to 15 marks based on prior NHM/Government contract service (COVID‑19 duties, tribal, rural, urban).
5. The aggregate score determines the merit list, which is valid for one year or until a fresh notification is issued.
