Eligibility Criteria

  • Only female candidates are eligible.
  • Candidate must be a resident of the same Gram Sabha (rural) or Ward (urban) for which she is applying.

Selection Process

  1. First priority: Widow women residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward and living below the poverty line (BPL). If no widow is available, BPL abandoned women or legally divorced women with a maintenance order are considered.
  2. If the above category is exhausted, other BPL women are considered.
  3. Second priority: Candidates living above the poverty line are considered in the order mentioned in the Government Order.
  4. Merit is prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained from Intermediate up to Post Graduate qualifications (High School marks excluded).
