Eligibility Criteria
- Pre‑Eligibility Test (PET‑2025): Only candidates who appeared in PET‑2025 and have a valid PET‑2025 score card are eligible. Shortlisting is based on the normalized PET‑2025 score (up to 15 × the number of posts).
- Educational Qualification:
- High School certificate (UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad or equivalent).
- Three‑year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering (AICTE‑approved) or an equivalent qualification.
- Age Limit: Must be at least 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1 July 2026. Age relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, women, government servants (additional 5 years), etc., as per prevailing rules.
- Preference: Preference is given to candidates with a minimum of two years of Territorial Army service or NCC ‘B’ certificate, if all other criteria are equal.
Pay Scale & Salary
- Pay Level: Level‑6
- Pay Band: ₹9,300 – ₹34,800 per month
- Grade Pay: ₹4,200

Selection Process
- Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET‑2025) – already conducted; used only for shortlisting.
- Shortlisting for the Main Exam based on category‑wise normalized PET‑2025 scores (up to 15 × vacancies).
- Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Mukhya Pariksha (Main Exam) – 100 objective‑type questions, 100 marks, 2 hours.
- Final selection based on merit in the Main Exam as approved by the Uttar Pradesh Government.
How to Apply
- Visit the official UPSSSC website: upsssc.gov.in.
- Navigate to the “Live Advertisement” segment on the homepage and locate Advertisement No. 19-Pariksha/2026.
- Click “Apply Online”. Log in using your PET‑2025 registration number.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email to verify your identity.
- Personal details (name, parentage, category, DOB, etc.) will be auto‑filled from PET‑2025 data. Verify and edit if necessary.
- Enter educational details (High School certificate and Diploma in Agricultural Engineering) and upload the required scanned documents.
- Pay the applicable application fee of ₹25 through the available online modes.
- After successful payment, review the complete application and submit.
- Print the confirmation page for your records. The admit card for the Main Exam will be downloadable after you pay the separate Main Exam fee (amount not specified in the notification).
