The High Explosives Factory (HEF), Khadki, a unit of Munitions India Ltd. under the Ministry of Defence, is recruiting for the post of Tenure Based Chemical Process Worker (CPW) on a contract basis for a period of one year, extendable up to four years.

Pay Scale & Salary

Basic Pay Rs. 19,900/‑ + DA
Rate of Pay 1/30th of the basic pay of the relevant pay scale plus dearness allowance, for 8 hours of work a day
Dearness Allowance Central DA as prevailing
House Rent Allowance As per city classification (Company Quarters priority where available)
Annual Increase 3 % (rounded to next ten rupees) on Basic Pay during tenure, subject to satisfactory performance
Other Benefits EPF, coverage under Employee’s Compensation Act 1923, Bonus (if applicable) as per Bonus Act 1965, Night Duty Allowance, Risk Allowance, 30 days’ leave per year, safety & protective gear, Maternity Benefits as per the Maternity Benefit Act 1961

Selection Process

  1. Merit is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the NAC (NCVT) mark sheet (80 %) and Trade Test/Practical Test (20 %).
  2. Priority order while preparing the merit list:
    1. Ex‑apprentices of AOCP trade trained in Ordnance Factories under MIL.
    2. AOCP trade apprentices from DoO (C&S) other than MIL Group, and AOCP from Government/Private organisations having Government affiliation.
    3. Candidates already engaged on Tenure Basis as CPW/DBW with the 3‑month training certificate from MIL Group of Factories.
    4. Trade apprentices of Ordnance Factories and Government/Private organisations having Government affiliation in the feeder stream trades.
  3. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification in order of merit, limited to the number of posts notified.
  4. If any candidate is found ineligible or fails to report, the next candidate in the merit list will be considered.

  3. Attach self‑attested copies of required documents:
    • Date of Birth proof
    • Educational Qualification Certificate
    • NCVT (NAC) certificate and mark sheet for the relevant trade
    • 3‑month training certificate (if available)
    • Experience Certificate (if any)
    • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
    • Two passport‑size photographs (one pasted on the form, one extra)
  4. Additional declarations:
    • OBC candidates – Appendix‑I declaration
    • Ex‑Servicemen – Appendix‑II undertaking
    • Candidates from feeder trades other than AOCP – Appendix‑III consent/undertaking
  5. Clearly write “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TENURE BASED CPW PERSONNEL ON CONTRACT BASIS” on the envelope.
  6. Send the hard copy with all enclosures to:
