- Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree from a university established by law in India.
- Preferential (advantage if all else equal):
- Service in the Territorial Army for a minimum of two years, or
- Holding an NCC “B” or “C” certificate.
- Additional condition (one of the following):
- Passing High School and Intermediate (or equivalent) from a recognized institution in Uttarakhand, or
- Registered with an Employment Exchange located in Uttarakhand, or
- Specific service/residency exemptions as mentioned in the notification.
