Qualification

Candidates must be Indian citizens or eligible subjects of Nepal/Bhutan.

AND Recognized Diploma/Certificate in translation (Hindi to English & vice versa) OR 2 years of translation experience in Central/State Govt/PSUs.
D (Senior Level) Same Master’s degree as above.
AND Recognized Diploma/Certificate in translation (Hindi to English & vice versa) OR 3 years of translation experience in Central/State Govt/PSUs.

Salary Details

The selected candidates will be placed in Pay Levels 6 and 7 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC.

  • Level-6 Posts: ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400
  • Level-7 Posts: ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400

Selection Process

The selection is based on a two-stage examination process followed by document verification.

Stage Details
1. Paper-I (CBE) Objective type: General Hindi and General English. Used for shortlisting. (Min qualifying: UR 30%, OBC/EWS 25%, Others 20%).
2. Paper-II (Descriptive) Translation and Essay writing (200 marks). Only for shortlisted candidates.
3. Final Merit Calculated as: (50% weightage of Paper-I) + (100% weightage of Paper-II).
4. Allocation Based on merit and preference submitted via Online Option Form.
5. Document Verification Conducted by the respective User Departments.
