Qualification

Diploma Trainee (DTE / DTC / DTS)

  • DTE (Electrical): Full Time Regular 3-year Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical) from a recognized board with minimum 70% marks (Pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • DTC (Civil): Full Time Regular 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized board with minimum 70% marks (Pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • DTS (Survey): Full-Time Regular 3-year Diploma in Survey Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering (with survey as a subject) with minimum 70% marks.

Note: Candidates with higher technical qualifications like B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech are not eligible for Diploma Trainee posts.

Junior Officer & Technician Trainees

  • JOT (HR): 3-year full-time Graduate Degree (BBA/ BBM/ BBS) with at least 60% marks for General/EWS/OBC. Post Graduate degrees are not allowed.
  • JOT (F&A): Inter CA / Inter CMA. Post Graduate degrees or qualified CA/CMA are not allowed.
  • JTT (Survey): Full-Time Regular 2-year ITI (Surveyor). Higher qualifications like Diploma/B.E./B.Tech are not allowed.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will undergo training for one year. The pay scale during and after training is as follows:

Pay Component Details
Diploma / Junior Officer Trainee Pay scale Rs. 24,000 – 3% – 1,08,000/- (IDA) at S0 level. Basic Pay Rs. 24,000/- + IDA, HRA, and other perks.

Selection Process

  • Computer Based Test (CBT): 100% weightage. The test consists of 170 objective questions (120 Technical/Professional + 50 Aptitude).
  • Computer Skill Test (CST): Qualifying in nature (Only for JOT HR / F&A).
  • Trade Test (TT): Qualifying in nature (Only for JTT Survey).
  • Medical Examination: Pre-employment medical fitness check.

Qualifying Criteria: Minimum 40% aggregate for UR/EWS and 30% for reserved categories.
