Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification PUC (Pre‑University Certificate) or equivalent qualification as on the last date of application. Candidates appearing for PUC exams are not eligible.
PUC Equivalents Accepted Class 12 (CBSE/ICSE/State Boards), NIOS HSC, NIOS Two‑year BTEC (with one language & one academic subject), etc.
Vocational Courses (GTC) Accepted only for compassionate appointments or existing service as per Govt. Order No. ED 19 TVE 2019.
3‑Year Diploma Accepted for direct/compassionate appointments; must be obtained before 2015 from a government technical institute and candidate must pass Kannada test.
Kannada Language Requirement Mandatory. Candidates must have passed Kannada as first/second language at PUC/equivalent level or must secure a minimum of 50 marks out of 150 in the prescribed Kannada test.
Nationality Indian citizens only.
Prior Apprenticeship / Ex‑Servicemen Ex‑servicemen must be currently serving in the relevant post and free from departmental inquiries.
