Eligibility Criteria
Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale)
- Recognised MBBS degree registered under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification as per specialty (e.g., M.D., D.M., M.S.) and the stipulated post‑PG experience:
- Anaesthesiology – M.D. + 3 years post‑PG experience.
- Cardiology – D.M.; 1 year post‑DM experience required only for 2‑year/5‑year DM courses.
- Medicine – M.D. + 3 years post‑PG experience.
- Nephrology – D.M.; same experience condition as Cardiology.
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology – M.D./M.S. + 3 years post‑PG experience.
- Orthopaedics – M.S. + 3 years post‑PG experience.
- Radio‑Diagnosis – M.D. + 3 years post‑PG experience.
General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO)
- Medical qualification listed in Schedule I, II or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Completion of the mandatory 1‑year internship and additional 3 years of post‑internship experience.
Child Psychologist
- M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent from a recognised institute/university.
- Minimum 2 years experience in child and adolescent mental health.
- Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) – Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR).

Exam Cities
The CBT will be conducted in the following cities: Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Puducherry, Kakinada, and Tiruchirappalli. Allocation of centre is at the discretion of JIPMER.
