Minimum age is 18 years. Age is reckoned as on 01 August 2026. The overall maximum age limit for Ex‑Servicemen is 45 years across all categories.
Educational Qualification
Candidate must have passed the 10th standard (SSLC) or its equivalent. Candidates who have already passed graduation are not eligible.
Other Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and speak Tamil.
- Medical Standard: Minimum SHAPE‑1 or AYE at the time of discharge.
- Nationality: Indian citizen or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee (pre‑1962), or Indian origin migrant as per notification.
- Only Ex‑Servicemen/Ex‑Agniveers (excluding disabled) are eligible; PWDs and dependents of martyrs are not eligible.

Selection Process
- Online Objective Test (CBT) – 80 marks covering English, Aptitude, Arithmetic, and Psychometric sections.
- Local Language Test (Tamil) – 20 marks; cut‑off decided by the Bank.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – 100 marks (Push‑Ups, Sit‑Ups, 1 km Run, Drill). Minimum qualifying score: 65. Candidates must pass each sub‑test with the prescribed minimum marks.
