Indian Navy SSR (Med) Recruitment 02/2027 – Apply Online for Sailor (Medical Branch) Vacancies
The Indian Navy has issued an enrolment notice for unmarried male citizens to join as sailors in the Medical Branch under the Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) framework for the 02/2027 batch. Applications will be accepted exclusively through the on-line Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) 2026 portal from 14 March 2026 until 06 April 2026.

Essential Eligibility
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from any Board recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
- Minimum 50 % marks in aggregate and at least 40 % in each PCB subject.
Age Limits
- Lower limit: 01 May 2005
- Upper limit: 31 Oct 2009
- Both dates are inclusive.

Compensation & Career Progression
- Initial training: Monthly stipend of ₹ 14,600.
- Post-training appointment: Level 3 of Defence Pay Matrix (₹ 21,700 – 69,100), Military Service Pay ₹ 5,200 plus Dearness Allowance.
- Promotion avenue: Up to Master Chief Petty Officer-I (Level 8, ₹ 47,600 – 1,51,100) with MSP and DA.
